The Journal of Applied Engineering Science was launched in June 2003 under the key title Istraživanja i projektovanja za privredu with quarterly publishing dynamics. From issue No. 30 in 2011, the journal is published in English only and due to that decision alternative (parallel) title „Journal of Applied Engineering Science” has been introduces. Under that title Journal becomes more recognized in academic world

Today, the Journal of Applied Engineering Science is certainly one of the dominant scientific journals, dedicated to the improvement and dissemination of knowledge on methods, policies and technologies in technical sciences, energy, energy efficiency and environment, industrial engineering, traffic and transportation, quality management and other related sciences. JAES follows new trends and progress proven practice in listed fields, thus creating a unique forum (platform) for interdisciplinary or multidisciplinary dialog.

We are proud to inform you that the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has rated our magazine as the leading national journal in the field of mechanical engineering, transportation, civil engineering and architecture.

Thanks to the achieved results, two of the eminent scientific institutions of our country are its co-publishers - Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Belgrade and Faculty of Traffic and Transportation Belgrade.

The Editorial Board consists of prominent experts in the journal’s field and we are proud to have them as the ambassadors for our journal.

The Journal of Applied Engineering science is indexed in the most important research databases, such as: SCOPUS, DOAJ, Google Scholar, SCIndeks, Kobson, ROAD.

Journal of Applied Engineering science is OPEN ACCESS journal applying CC-BY terms and conditions with ISSN: 1451-4117 (printed) and  E-ISSN: 1821-3197 (online).
